He's worked across various industry segments in popular destinations such as Orlando, FL and Las Vegas, NV, including restaurants, hotels, casinos, events, and now, vacation rentals.


Mathew is an operations specialist from Wisconsin. He's a natural when it comes to managing long, complex projects. With a background in commercial real estate, construction, and development, Mathew's ability to navigate land use challenges, city regulations, and contractors is top-notch.

We booked our first AirBnB as a guest in 2014 and were immediately impressed at how seamless the experience was. In just a few swipes of a finger, we could book a vacation home for the night without dealing with the hassle of checking in at the front desk, swiping credit cards, signing waivers and all the other minutiae associated with the typical hotel experience.

“This is different,” we thought… “These guys are definitely onto something.”

So AirBnB became the first choice for our travel accommodations. Around that same time, Uber started gaining a lot of traction and rolling out their services in many different markets across the country. All of a sudden, in just a few swipes of a finger, we could book a taxi that would arrive in minutes.

“What is this black magic?!” Just a few years earlier, the thought of putting your kid in the back of a car with a complete strange was absurd. Now it was one of the most popular means of transportation.

It seemed like new apps were popping up every day, each with their own unique twist on enhancing the traveling experience.

So we booked our flights using Skyscanner, drove to the airport in an Uber, rented a car using Turo, booked a room on Airbnb, took care of business at WeWork, then hit the waves with a surfboard from Quiver.

Turns out all these platforms were the seeds of something much bigger: the Sharing Economy.

These apps helped people discover untapped goldmines and all we needed to do was grab a pickaxe. When we told our friends and family about it, they didn’t really “get it.”

But we did, so we started making moves…

In 2015, we posted our first AirBnB listing, long before the platform was a household name. At that time, it was mostly an experiment. But it didn’t take long for us to realize that renting vacation homes (or even a spare bedroom) could be much more than a side-gig.

In 2017, we got curious about investing in vacation rental properties. After some market research, we decided on Nashville, one of the best markets for vacation home rental agencies at the time.

In 2018, we bought our first home and spent about three months setting everything up before hosting our first reservation. The property started generating $10-15k per month within the first couple of months!

When we told our friends and family about that, they started to get it. That’s when we realized money was a common language that everyone understood. So we started sharing stories about how much we were making from our “side-hustle,” and people would say, “Wow, can you do that for me, too?”

Here we are, years later, a small group of hospitality professionals helping people Stay Savvy through fun, easy, profitable vacation rental management.

As we were traveling the world with our backpacks and briefcases, we started to see how the entire travel industry was transitioning, becoming faster, easier, and more affordable with the help of innovative technology.

The whole scene is reminiscent of the change we saw with smartphones. One day there were Blackberries with full keyboards; the next day there were iPhones with no buttons at all.

And then it dawned on us: if the travel and tourism industry was in the midst of a grand transformation, we were going to be right there riding the wave.

When families go on vacation over the holidays, someone has to tend to their needs. Our staff is always available to care for guests and your vacation home. We offer 24/7 Guest Services and have local support staff on call in case any emergencies pop up (like when a septic backs up at 1:00am).


If anyone tells you they’re not going mess up at some point, run the opposite way as fast as as you can! We’re all human, which means we’re not perfect. Rather than denying it, we embrace our shortcomings and use it to our advantage.
When something doesn’t go as expected, or when technology glitches, or something gets overlooked, we don’t sit around pointing fingers. We take immediate action to remedy the situation and build preventative solutions so we're better prepared if it happens again in the future. Our strong feedback systems encourage all team members to spot opportunities for improvement and be proactive (our owners are also part of this process).
